With the COVID-19 pandemic devastating many industries worldwide, tourism and commercial real estate are two of the most prominent and the most negatively impacted.

With remote working forced upon many companies across the UK and abroad, the commercial property market has plummeted; “fallen off a cliff” is possibly the best metaphor to highlight the industry's plight amid the pandemic. 

With tourism hit as well, hotel rent delinquency rates grew from 1.5% in the US during January 2020, to approximately 25% in July 2020 according to one report from Yahoo Finance.

The engine management warning lights been on again for a while, not driven it much during lockdown so before taking it down to a garage and paying as much as £150 to get the code read at a dealer, I thought after some research I would give a relatively cheap OBD2 code reader bought off amazon a try, the Nexpeak NX501, https://amzn.to/36twU54, And it worked1 reads the code and more! So what did it reveal ? EGR! EGR! EGR! Bloomin EGR AGAIN! THESE LAND ROVERS ARE A NIGHTMARE WHEN IT COMES TO MAINTENANCE COSTS! EGR's are supposed to last 100,000 miles! Not less than 20,000! Blooming Discovery Sports pieces of garbage not made to last. Anyway check out my video because I am pretty sure there will be many land rover discovery sport owners out there with the SAME problem!

And yet I remember well, less than a year ago in mid-March, when the world started a major lockdown in response to the Covid-19 pandemic. Gold and silver bullion dealers were nearly completely sold out within days. In some cases, silver premiums reached historic highs, near 100% of spot prices.

TREASURY YIELDS SUGGEST A TOP WITHIN THE NEXT 6 MONTHS / Interest-Rates / US Bonds

Historically, whenever the Treasury Yields fall below zero, then recover back above zero, the US/Global markets reach some peak in price levels within 3 to 8+ months.  My research team and I believe the actions of the global markets may be setting up for a future peak in price levels sometime in next 6 months. We believe this will start when the Treasury Yields cross above the “Breakdown Threshold”.

expect A Continued Rally As Long As Yields Stay Below Certain Levels

In 1998, a very brief drop below zero in yields prompted a minor pullback in the markets before the bigger top setup in 2000.  This pullback in price aligned with what we are calling the “Breakdown Threshold” level on Yields near 1.20.  After the Yields crossed this Threshold, briefly, in 1999, they fell back below this level and the US stock market continued to rally toward an ultimate peak in 2000.

Volatility Spike Shocks Markets – Resets Trend Systems / Stock-Markets / Volatility

The recent volatility spike in the VIX prompted a very quick downturn in price levels across all US major Indexes over the past few trading days  This sharp decline, although only lasting four trading days, prompted many systems to warn of a potentially much deeper price correction.  As of the close of trading on Friday, January 29, 2021, it looked like a deep correction in price was setting up.  Our proprietary BAN Trader Pro system also generated a “trend reset” trigger on Friday.  This means our systems expected a change in trend, suggesting a bearish price trend was setting up, based on this spike in volatility and what appeared to be a moderately deep price trend. 

VIX Hiccup Shocks Market Traders

The reality is that this downside trend move took place while a number of other factors were playing out.  First, the Reddit group was targeting certain sectors/symbols in addition to the fact that the markets had already rallied a substantial amount since the November 2 election.  This spike in the VIX index shocked a number of people and suggested a change in price trend.

A wild week of trading across asset markets has left investors wondering what represents real value – and whether it even matters anymore.

Stratospheric GameStop shares came crashing back to earth after their gravity-defying run up.  The stock had clearly been pumped to ridiculously overvalued levels based on all conventional metrics. But that didn’t deter buyers who believed they could push it to $1,000 per share before cashing out.

After dropping over 85% its nominal price peak, perhaps the GameStop craze has ended just as abruptly as it began.

Meanwhile, some online speculators have jumped aboard other bizarre market frenzies. For example, the crypto token Dogecoin – which launched a few years ago as a joke – spiked this week to a market capitalization of over $6 billion.

Stock Market Bears Losing The Battle / Stock-Markets / Stock Market 2021

Monday's action retraced all losses from Friday as the Emini S&P 500 (ES) formed a double bottom during Sunday night at 3650 key level. The next two sessions will be pivotal in confirming whether it's risk on again or whether we need to wait a bit. Right now, bears are losing the battle before price action is back to neutral mode given the V-shape recovery into 61.8-78.6% retracement of the 3860s-3650s range.

The main takeaway is that this is healthy consolidation in the bigger picture because it allows the market to reset and take out some novices and shake the tree a bit. It clears out the newish traders that keep on buying calls and getting paid easily for the past few months. It ain’t gonna be as easy and simple as that going forward. At least not until price action confirms the stabilization/higher lows. During Sunday night, the market held the 3650s and formed a temporary double bottom setup. This was no surprise because we’ve been saying the 3650 area has been a key level for the past few weeks. It is the confluence of the January monthly lows.

When Joe Public buys shares during a wave of euphoria, they do it close to a market top or before the beginning of a decline. Looking at you, SLV!

Silver rallied on Friday (Jan. 29), gold reversed its direction before the end of the day and so did miners, with the latter slightly underperforming gold. I wrote this before, and I’ll stress this once again today – the above is a perfectly bearish indication of an upcoming downturn in the precious metals market. This is not the first time it’s happening, and this combination of relative strengths worked reliably in the past. And we are not only just seeing that happening – we are seeing that at precisely the moment that is similar to previous patterns that were followed by sizable declines, which means that the relative bearish factors are even stronger.

This also applies to the huge inflows to the SLV ETF that we just saw most recently. Let’s take a look below.

Silver Price May Rally Above $39 On Range Breakout / Commodities / Gold and Silver 2021

Nearly 6+ months ago, our research team highlighted a unique price range that appears to be repeating itself in Silver.  This price range consists of a $5.40 bullish or bearish price phase.  Using our 100% measured move techniques, we’ve seen silver move higher and lower by this range over the past 10+ months and, quite interestingly, the current sideways price range in Silver is almost exactly a $5.40 range. After a bit of research related to the explosive upside price move in June 2020, where Silver rallied from $17.75 to levels over $28.75 – an $11 Candle Body Range (nearly 2x the $5.40 range), our researcher team believes the next breakout move in Silver may be another 2x or 3x rally – ranging from an $11+ rally to a $16.50+ rally.  This suggests a potential upside price target in Silver near $39 to $45 if our research is correct.

Potential Silver Blastoff Once Price Clears $30

This Daily Silver Futures chart highlights the continued $5.40 range that has “bound” silver over the past 4+ months.  The peak in price, near $30 represents the high price level that would have to be breached if any breakout attempt is confirmed.  Initially, we expect to see the $28 (upper channel) level breached, then we need to see the $30 breached as the breakout move continues/confirms.

US Dollar Has Crossed the “Event Horizon” / Currencies / US Dollar

The “event horizon” is a term used in astronomy which describes an imaginary point some distance from a black hole in the center of a galaxy where the gravitational force becomes so strong that any heavenly body which crosses that point (visualized as a circle around the black hole) cannot escape the hole’s gravitational pull, and matter is inexorably pulled into the black hole destroying it completely.  This is an apt analogue to the continuous and increasing printing of fiat currency where once an astronomic amount of debt is issued creating the currency, it then starts to lose purchasing value such that it is no longer possible for it not to lose all or most of its value, and it collapses on itself.  Similar to stellar mass being destroyed in the case of black holes, the currency and its purchasing value is completely or mostly destroyed.

This article proposes that unrelenting growth of national debt, which is the basis for currency creation has reached a global inflection level such that the value of fiat currencies across the globe, with several notable country exceptions, are drawn into a whirlpool of decline that will ultimately result in its near complete loss of value.
