Strong Signs In The Mobile Gaming Market / Companies / Gambling

By: Submissions

Mobile gaming has been moving from strength to strength seeing year on year growth, but there’s also a change in the types of games being played which has led to increased revenue and increasing investor interest. This change is largely due to a difference in audience - mobile gaming has moved away from the typical demographic of younger teen males and now has found a footing with women who are a little older with a disposable income - in a survey conducted 63% of mobile gamers were women with over half of both genders being older than 34, this change sees an increase in games requiring spending such as mobile betting sites and casinos, there are still ones accepting credit cards too which has been found to be one of the bigger spending areas.

Market Predictions And The Business Implications / Personal_Finance / Gambling

By: Submissions

Predicting movements within markets when things are operating as usual can typically be quite simple - whilst unexpected changes may cause some movement there tends to be a lot of flexibility to cover that movement. However, when we experience a global crisis such as the one that came in the 2008 housing crash and now in the coronavirus pandemic, the range of factors that can cause movement in a market are much higher, much more volatile, and can be much more unexpected. Fear has always served as a motivating factor for a shifting market, as uncertainty grows around how much movement we may see, those afraid to face big losses may change their position during a difficult time, which in turn causes more fear in the market.

Industry Trends: Online Casinos & Online Slots Game Market Analysis / Companies / Gambling

By: Submissions

Online gambling has been steadily climbing in market capitalization since the early 2000s – breaching $60 billion in 2019. Along with mobile games and social apps, it’s one of the fastest-growing markets in the world. Online gambling didn’t have many regulatory barriers in its way, which is one of the reasons why it quickly gained traction over the past decades.

Most online casinos merge table games, slots, sports betting, and other forms of gambling – making it difficult to separate individual niches under the iGaming umbrella. Recent lift of US federal ban on Sports Betting has opened tens of billions in potential revenue, creating an incentive for online casinos to expand into the newly opened niche.

Precious Metals, Copper, CRB Commodity Markets Step By Step , Inch by Inch / Commodities / Gambling

By: Rambus_Chartology

Tonight I would like to update some commodities charts we haven’t looked at in a while. There have been some subtle changes taking place that need to be addressed. Just like the PM complex that topped out in 2011 many commodities also topped out that same year and have been correcting ever since. With the US dollar at an important inflection point it may be time for commodities in general to show some relative strength which they haven’t done for a very long time.

Lets start with this very long term monthly combo chart which has the CRB index on top with the US dollar in the middle and gold on the bottom. Back in April of 2011 the CRB index topped out while the US dollar bottomed out exactly at the same time with gold topping out 5 months later in September. As you can see there is a mild correlation between the CRB and gold with their 2011 trendline both sloping down while the US dollar is sloping up.

How Online Casinos Maximise Profits / Companies / Gambling

By: Submissions

The gambling industry has had great success as of late. A report from the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) - the government body that regulates the gambling industry - showed that during 2019 the total Gross Gambling Yield (GGY) in the UK reached £14.5 billion. It’s an impressive figure, and reflects what many organisations already know to be true — that people still play online casino games, and a younger generation is beginning to love them too.

Statistics from the same report also show a rise in online gambling — the total GGY of the remote sector was an astonishing £5.6 billion. This means that online gambling is one of the largest revenue generating sections of the industry. And it continues to grow in popularity.
