Silver Mining Stocks Q3’18 Fundamentals / / Gold and Silver 2018
The major silver miners’ stocks have been largely abandoned this year, spiraling to brutal multi-year lows. Such miserable technicals have exacerbated the extreme bearishness plaguing this tiny contrarian sector. While profitable silver mining is challenging at today’s exceedingly-low silver prices, these miners are chugging along. Their recently-reported Q3’18 results show their earnings are ready to soar as silver recovers.
Four times a year publicly-traded companies release treasure troves of valuable information in the form of quarterly reports. Companies trading in the States are required to file 10-Qs with the US Securities and Exchange Commission by 40 calendar days after quarter-ends. Canadian companies have similar requirements at 45 days. In other countries with half-year reporting, many companies still partially report quarterly.

OECD Recommends Potential Major US National Debt Increases: The Impact On Retirement / / US Debt
The Organization For Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) is urging the nations of the world to be prepared for and have a coordinated plan to simultaneously engage in major "fiscal stimulus" in the event of a downturn in the global economy.
"Fiscal stimulus" is how economists refer to a government substantially increasing spending, while holding taxes constant or even reducing them. By pouring more money into the economy, while not taking more money out (or taking even less money out), the theory is that the economy and employment will get a large and positive jolt, and that this jolt will hopefully create sustainable economic and employment growth rates that persist after the stimulus is gone.

How Will the Rollback of Dodd-Frank Affect Gold? / Commodities / Gold and Silver 2018
This reform will make US financial system more vulnerable, just adding fuel to the fire of easy money. This is what some people worry about. Are they right? We invite you to read our today’s article about the rollback of Dodd-Frank Act and its potential implications for the price of gold.
In May, President Trump signed the rewrite of the 2010 Dodd-Frank law passed earlier by Congress with rare bipartisan support. The bill is the biggest rollback of bank rules since the financial crisis. According to the new law, lenders with less than $10 billion in assets will be exempted from the Volcker rule that bans proprietary trading. Moreover, the bill eases rules on all but the largest institutions, raising the threshold by which banks are considered systematically important and, thus, subject to tighter oversight from $50 to $250 billion in assets. The smallest banks between $50 and $100 billion were immediately freed of stricter regulations, while depositary institutions between $100 and $250 billion in assets will be exempt from them beginning in November 2019, although they could still be subjected to the Fed’s enhanced supervision in times of need. Last month, the Fed just unveiled a proposal for the implementation of several major provisions of the new bill.

Advice to make it as a professional in the forex market / Currencies / Forex Trading
The forex market is perhaps one of the most misunderstood markets out there. It’s seen only ever in its simplest form by many holidaymakers and travellers, while for newbie retail investors, it’s sometimes thought of as either too volatile or too complicated. For technical analysts, the heavy focus that many forex publications place on fundamental analysis points such as interest rate rises can seem too much.

The U.S. Consumer Measured Via the XLY
“The U.S. economy is the global economic driver. And within the U.S. economy, the U.S. consumer is the global driver.” James P. Gorman
We’re Entering In Negative Territory for 2018
The stock market (measured via the S&P 500 and Dow Jones Industrial Average) has officially erased all of its 2018 gains. I can see from the headlines like the one pictured below from The Drudge Report that there’s certainly starting to be a bit of panic in the air.

There is evidence that deflationary forces are already taking hold in America / Economics / Deflation
By Murray Gunn
When I was writing technical analysis reports for the customers of a major global bank, I received some interesting feedback from one of the bank's relationship managers. The customers liked the reports, she said, but it would be good if I made them less "technical." Making technical analysis reports less technical, hmmm. (To be fair, it is actually good advice because striking a balance between technical details and readability is an art.) Sometimes, though, an explanation of a concept cannot help but delve into some detail. So please bear with me on this one.

China Stock Market Preparing New Elliott Wave Bullish Cycle / Stock-Markets / Chinese Stock Market
The trade war between USA & China had led to a global fear around the stock market and causing a mid-term “bear market” in China which lost 30% since the start of 2018. The latest plan is that the two leaders US President Donald Trump and Xi Jinping would meet for dinner on December 1 immediately after the G20 meeting in the Argentine capital Buenos Aires.
Trump says US is ‘doing extremely well’ with China but deal not done yet. Therefore the next meeting could be critical for this ongoing war trade talk and its result will have important effect around the market.
At ElliottWave Forecast, we believe the market is ruled by technical aspect and the news is an after-fact event to drive the market into the pre-determined direction. Therefore, understanding the Nature of the Market is key for traders to stay in the right side and follow a clear path which have nothing to do with Fundamentals or events.

Facebook Ends Cycle from IPO. What’s Next For The Social Networking Giant / Companies / Social Media
Even today with the explosion of advancements in quantitative analysis utilizing the most sophisticated algorithms and artificial intelligence available the debate rages on between whether a technical-based trading methodology is superior to a fundamental-based trading methodology and vice versa. That debate is examined below via analysis of individual financial instruments such as Facebook (FB).
The price of Facebook’s stock has pretty much been on bullish rip higher ever since the IPO of 2012 reaching an all-time high over this past July at 218.62. However, the company has been mired in unflattering publicity that the fundamentalists claim has taken the wind out FB’s sails. The first chink in the armor of FB came during US General Elections of 2016 when a Russian company named Internet Research Agency start buying Facebook digital ads to allegedly spread propagandist messages about various politically hotspots that included religion and immigration. This event brought the company into the biggest crises of its short history. I have to say it’s definitely a unique event to see an American company as the tool of a foreign plot to influence a major democratic election. Even so, the stock pushed higher. However, on this very day we read about a seemingly endless series of “events” which are said to have caused the company stock to decline nearly $100/share with its most recent print of 126.85.

Amazon (AMZN) – Highlighting Next Area For Buyers / Companies / Amazon
We recently wrote an article explaining why Mr Jeff Bezos had nothing to worry about after being down $45B in October’s market sell off and also stated the obvious fact that trend in Amazon (AMZN) is up and pull backs are a buying opportunity. AMZN reached our blue box area starting from $1477 at the end of October and buyers were waiting there as expected. We keep mentioning that once a blue box is reached, two things can happen, either the trend will resume or there will be a minimum 3 waves reaction from the blue box to allow the longs to eliminate risk on the trade by trailing stops or booking partial profits and then trailing stops. Amazon bounce quickly reached 50% Fibonacci retracement of the decline from 9/4/2018 peak which was good enough for the longs from $1477 to get risk free. However, sellers have managed to push price below 10/30/2018 low which creates an incomplete 5 swings sequence down from 9/4/2018 peak. Let’s take a look at the chart below

Thanksgiving for Proper Gold Stock Fundamentals / Commodities / Gold and Silver Stocks 2018
All through the bear market hopeful rationalizations were served up for a bullish case on the gold miners. All through the bear market we warned people not to eat that rotten turkey!
China demand, the China and India “love trade”, cyclical inflation driving up the prices of commodities and resources and the classic… economic growth in the US will create cost-push inflation through wage increases with the smart money seeking inflation protection in gold. All of those and a veritable Turducken of mishmashed ingredients were served to gold bugs as a decidedly not delectable appetizer before the main course.

Roaring Stock Market Rally Coming! / Stock-Markets / Stock Markets 2018
Stocks have been under selling pressure for the lst 8 weeks and yet the indices continue to be above the key support levels. By most measures the U.S. economy is in excellent health. Yet stocks are sinking, yields on corporate bonds are rising and commodity prices are tumbling—all typical precursors of a slowdown or recession. There are a few reasons which we can immediately forsee. First, while the U.S. is cruising a wave of fiscal stimulus, growth in the rest of the world is slowing. That’s creating problems for companies that do export business. Second, FED is set on a rigid path of raising rates, tightening conditions and reducing balance sheet.
Given the simulataneous actions of ECB and BoJ, we believe has fared way beyond what could have been a much sharper decline. However we are just about 15% from the highs seen this year.
