The Republican presidential debates have become so heated and filled with insults, it almost seems we are watching a pro wrestling match. There is no civility, and I wonder whether the candidates are about to come to blows. But despite what appears to be total disagreement among them, there is one area where they all agree. They all promise that if elected they will "rebuild the military."

The bully of the playground continued to be in the media spotlight and charging ahead to the Republican nomination for president.
In the 11th Republican debate, Donald Trump, bold and arrogant as always, kept up the attack against his three remaining opponents. To the man who once delighted in being called The Donald, Sen. Ted Cruz was “Lyin’ Ted,” a reference he made more than just a few times. However, several political fact checkers over the past three months have dismissed Trump’s claims as little more than half-truths, exaggerations, and lies. Politifacts, which checks candidate statements, revealed that about three-fifths of what Trump said during the campaign are incorrect. Among some of the errors Trump has made are that some of the families of the 9/11 suicide crews were in the U.S. prior to taking the lives of almost 3,000; that five detainees at Guantanamo Base, Cuba, whom Obama released were back on the battle field attacking Americans; that Mexico sent its citizens, especially criminals, into the U.S.; that the U.S., under the nuclear ban treaty with Iran, would be required to defend that nation if there was an attack by Israel; and that several polls show him ahead of Hillary Rodham Clinton. Several times over the past two decades, Trump has flip-flopped on issues, and then later claimed he hadn’t.

Half the electorate usually ops out, refusing to vote when no choices exist, no one for high office representing them.

In the fledgling days of advertising over a century ago, legendary department store merchant John Wanamaker, an early proponent of the power of advertising, complained: "Half the money I spend on advertising is wasted; the trouble is I don't know which half."
It has been the goal of marketing and advertising chiefs ever since to answer his question.
More than $5 billion may be spent by presidential candidates and their supporters for the the 2016 race according to The Hill (thehill.com), which is double the tally for 2012. While much money will be spent on salaries, wages, fees and expenses for campaign workers, Kantar Media estimates that for all races political ad spending on TV will total $4.4 billion for the 2016 election cycle, and that another $1 billion will be spent on online ads.

David 'Chamberlain' Cameron returned from Brussels on Saturday to proudly stand outside 10 Downing Street and wave a piece of paper proclaiming 'Reforms in Our Time' to a skeptical British audience who have witnessed the farce of the past week that had seen each member state whittling down what were already pretty feeble proposals from David Cameron so as to prevent the 'contagion' of other EU member states following the same path as Britain which I likened to the EU effectively putting a gun to their head and then proceeding to pull the trigger, and so this is likely to turn out to mark the start of the end of the European Union.

Prime Minister David Cameron will all but fail in his negotiations with the 28 european union member states, this despite surrendering virtually every red line of his already heavily watered down proposed deal with the European Union who stated would be non binding and only legislate for AFTER the the UK had voted to remain within the EU. Which the EU Parliament President clarified as implying that virtually every aspect of the deal would be subject to debate and amendment from the dozen or so eastern european benefits claiming states, who would likely decide to reject most of the so called UK deal that would effectively have been used as a smoke screen to hoodwink the British people into giving up their democracy and freedom.

It is common understanding that the phrase "seeing is believing" means "I won't believe something until I see it." I won't believe that ghosts or UFOs exist until I actually see one and only then if I've exhausted all other possible explanations.
When the adage "seeing is believing" is turned upside down, i.e., "believing is seeing". It means we often project onto an object, person or event a preconceived notion rather than see it for what it is.

With single mindedness or madness the Visegrad conspirator nations of Poland, Hungary, Slovakia and Czech Republic have refused to play along with the smoke and mirrors illusion that the European Commission has been constructing for David Cameron to hoodwink the British public into voting to remain within the EU. Instead all four conspirator nations are refusing to give up a single £1 in benefits payments from British tax payers to their citizens by flatly refusing any curb in child benefit payments claimed for several million children who reside in their home nations to the determent of British children in terms of a lower payout rate and tapering of child benefit than would otherwise be the case given an estimated 1/3rd of the budget is being siphoned off into eastern europe.
