Toyland Ferris Wheel Birthday Fun at Gulliver's Rother Valley UK Theme Park 2022 / Personal_Finance / Theme Parks

It was Eliza's 7th Birthday soon and as a birthday treat we took her to the recently opened new Theme Park Gulliver's Rother Valley which is situated between Rotherham, Sheffield and Doncaster, so near three major urban areas. Gulliver's theme parks are mainly for under 10's so Eliza's teenage brothers and sisters were a bit bored but Eliza had a lot of fun. Here's what it was like the Ferris Wheel in Toyland which is situated near where one first goes into the park usually has a big queue, find out if it worth queuing for.

However, motorists need to be fully aware that the car park facilities are not all the same, as this video illustrates the difference between Alton Towers and Thorpe Park, especially when visitors attempt to leave the park after it closes.

Unfortunately the zombie nightmare continues even AFTER the park rides have closed as the park becomes a dangerous nightmare to escape! Pleasure Island Theme Park Cleethorpes, Last Day Trip Before it Closed Down / Personal_Finance / Theme Parks

Sadly one of the few theme parks in the Yorkshire / Lincolnshire region, Pleasure Island at Cleethorpes closed down last year with the gates closed for the final time on 29th October 2017. We had visited Pleasure Island a number of times over the years as it was easily one of the most affordable theme parks, as cheap as a £5 Tesco Club card voucher! So here is our video of a trip down memory lane of our LAST visit to Pleasure island at Cleethorpes when we enjoyed the parks rides, attractions and shows for final time as the rides were all auctioned off earlier this year so there is no going back, it's GONE!

Close Look at Hanging Bar 2 Minute Challenge Rotating / Spinning Bar / ConsumerWatch / Theme Parks

Summers here and everyone's off to the theme parks where your likely to come across the 2 Minute Hanging from a Bar Challenge to win a big toy prize or even cash! Should be easy enough, but only one problem, the bar rotates / spins! Which makes it that much harder to hold onto for the duration of the Challenge as opposed to a normal fixed bar.
So here we take a close look at the actual bar, to see how much it actually spins, and several things instantly stand out as you will see in the video such as that the bar is ultra smooth! And has ball bearings which makes it very easy to spin. So watch the video of why you should think twice before handing over cash. However I also do show how you can actually hold on for the whole 2 minutes.
