Silver Price Great Buy Spot Ahead of Second Big Upleg / Commodities / Gold & Silver 2020
Technical analyst Clive Maund takes a look at silver and explains why he believes it's a good time to build positions.
More than a few traders are confused about what is going on with silver here after its recent reaction, but when we look at its long-term chart the situation quickly becomes clear. So we will start this update by looking at silver's 13-year chart in order to get big picture perspective.
On the latest 13-year chart we see that only broke out of its giant 7-year long base pattern as recently as July. The high-volume surge that occurred upon its breaking out was a sign that it was genuine. What has happened in recent weeks is that it has reacted back to test support at the upper boundary of the base pattern, which is normal. In the last update we were too optimistic in thinking it would continue higher, but the good news is not just that the post-breakout reaction is perfectly normal, but that this reaction back to support is a healthy development that is "recharging the batteries" for the next upleg.

Forget RTX 3080 Get Zen 3 Ryzen 5900x / 5950x - GPU vs CPU - PC Bottlenecking / Personal_Finance / Computing
Whenever we do a video about pc's, we are asked if X will bottleneck Y... well today we are going to show you what REAL bottlenecking looks like and why your focus should be on getting the most powerful CPU you can afford first before you even think about the GPU. Which I know at present is hard to do given the GPU mania currently underway in the run upto and release of Nvidia's RTX 3000 series and their liberal dosing to hundreds of youtubers who have dutifully been busy pumping out effectively adverts for Nvidia that looks set to be replicated on release of AMD's Big Navi!
But thankfully in the middle of the two side shows we have the real release of 2020 which are AMD Zen3 Ryzen processors, the 5000 series which is where prospective PC upgraders should be focused on.

Trump’s Covid Infection, Bailout Negotiations Raise Market Uncertainties / Stock-Markets / Financial Markets 2020
Precious metals markets are advancing this week as a massive new stimulus bill makes its way through Congress.
On Thursday evening the House of Representatives passed a $2.2 trillion coronavirus relief bill on a party line vote.
It’s a big deal whenever Congress commits to spending that kind of cash, especially when it’s money that has to be borrowed into existence. These days, though, it’s not that unusual for Washington to dole out trillions of dollars at a time.

To US $50 Trillion Debt (and Beyond) / Interest-Rates / US Debt
In my 2020 forecast letters, published in January as the pandemic was just gaining attention, I noted this:
"When we do have a recession, which again I point out is likely to be after the election (the only meaningful data point between now and the end of next year), the deficit will explode to over $2 trillion per year and, without meaningful reform, never look back. That puts US debt at $35 trillion+ by the end of 2029."
According to CBO, this deficit -- which I said optimistically, in hindsight, would be over $2 trillion in a recession year -- will be more like $3.3 trillion.
What does this do to the national debt? First, we have to define some terms.

Gold Price Limited Downside, Big Upside / Commodities / Gold & Silver 2020
Technical analyst Clive Maund charts recent movements in the gold market and what they may indicate going forward.
In the last Gold Market update we had thought that it might break out upside from the Triangle that was forming, mainly because of its positive Accumulation line coupled with favorable seasonal factors, but instead, after moving sideways for a while, it broke down, as we can see on its latest 6-month chart below. The good news is that no technical damage was incurred because of this breakdown, as gold is well above important support and well above its rising 200-day moving average. So the fact is that that this drop has actually improved its technical condition by completely unwinding its earlier overbought condition.

Monitoring the SPX Rally / Stock-Markets / Stock Markets 2020
I trade for myself and my members. The people who use the service know what to expect, but from new members I do get some questions about how often I trade, what kind of monthly returns do I expect, etc. Normal questions to ask, but they are also the wrong questions as well. Many of you have been conditioned to think this way- just as some of you may think that indicators are necessary for trading. Feeling the necessity to trade is not good for your performance, period. Instead of calling me a professional trader, I could just as easily be called a professional waiter. I go through what may seem like long periods of time of doing nothing, but then may place more trades in 2 weeks than I did the prior month. My customers benefit from this patience- but they have to get over the idea that something has to always be ‘happening’, or that you need X amount per day/week/month, etc. The performance will take care of itself if you do things the right way, which leads to the current form of stasis in the SPX.

The Smart Way to Play the Hottest IPO Market in Years / Companies / IPOs
By Justin Spittler
The biggest software IPO is officially in the books. Two weeks ago, in one of the most hyped events of the year, Snowflake (SNOW) went public.
Snowflake is a data warehousing company. It helps companies better access and make sense of their data. We’ve been “stalking” Snowflake for over a year. And yet, we held off from recommending it to our readers.
There’s nothing wrong with Snowflake’s business. In fact, it’s a phenomenal company. Its customers include some of the world’s most cutting-edge companies, including Adobe (ADBE), Square (SQ), DocuSign (DOCU), and Overstock.com (OSTK).
Not only that, Snowflake is one of the world’s fastest-growing businesses. Its sales have surged an incredible 174% over the past year. That’s faster than Zoom Video (ZM) was growing before it went public.

Gold Price Is Doing It Again / Commodities / Gold & Silver 2020
Gold is trading really close to its 2011 all-time high. This is obviously a critical level for the future of gold prices.
Historically gold in US dollars often clears significant all-time highs only some time after significant currencies like the Euro and British pound.
This is mainly due to US dollar behaviour during times of significant risk aversion, like we’ve had this year and 2008, for example.

Trade Any Liquid Market, Any Timeframe: Know How to Spot New Opportunities / InvestorEducation / Learn to Trade
Learn simple techniques in this on-demand webinar, free ($129 value)
One positive development to come out of the 2020 pandemic is a widespread desire for financial independence. It's led everyone from retirees to Generation Z's to consider stock trading as a "cushion" against job uncertainty.
That's the good news! The bad news is, much of this new investment craze is being fueled by emotions and endorphins (hey -- all new traders have them!) rather than objective criteria. One leading economist coined the term "day-trading pandemic" in June to describe the "legions of participants pouring money into stocks without a care for the risks involved." (June 17 MarketWatch)
An August 11 NPR report confirmed the "addictive," "playing-with-fire" nature of this wave of new investing interest, in which first-time traders use free apps to impulsively jump into popular markets -- sometimes, only to meet ruinous ends.

Stock Market Massive Dark Cloud Cover Pattern Is Above Critical Support – Will It Hold? / Stock-Markets / Stock Markets 2020
RESEARCH HIGHLIGHTS:
- A Dark Cloud Cover pattern is a Japanese Candlestick Pattern that is typically associated with major top setups.
- Critical Support on the SPY highlighted by multiple technical analysis strategies suggests 335~335.25 is acting as a major support level.
- If price stays below the $339.95 level, then we interpret the trend as being Bearish. If price moves above the $343.55 level, it is Bullish.
Critical Support on the SPY (SPDR S&P500 ETF) highlighted by multiple technical analysis strategies suggests 335~335.25 is acting as a major support level. The rally in the markets that started late Sunday and carried forward into early trading on Monday, September 28, 2020, suggests the market is attempting to rally above this support level to establish a potential momentum base. My advanced price modeling systems and Fibonacci Price Amplitude Arcs (originating from the 2009 bottom) have clearly identified this area as a critical resistance/support zone.

Congressional Budget Office Tax Revenues Set to Surge! In 2 Years, That Is / Economics / US Economy
All debt shares one common characteristic. A bill comes due at some point and, if the borrower doesn’t pay, the lender either loses their money or finds someone else to pay.
I’ve warned for several years now that our growing global debt load is unpayable. We will eventually “reorganize” it in what I call The Great Reset, likely later in this decade.
Recent developments suggest debt will be even bigger than I expected, to the tune of $50 trillion in the US by 2030. That's double what I expected just one year ago.

Monetary and Economic Financial Reset / Stock-Markets / Financial Markets 2020
Difficult to contemplate or understand concepts in monetary theory, economics, or the stock market are often described by comparing or referring to natural events observable in our universe. In this article we use three physical phenomena to describe imminent economic transitions: in the creation and issuance of fiat money, the future implosion of our present debt based money, electronic currency applications circumventing banks, new distributed ledger means of conducting business, and the possibility of true global human emancipation.
Ray Kurzweil in his masterpiece book “The Singularity is Near” published in 2005 answers the question as to what is a Singularity. “It is a future period during which the pace of the technological change will be so rapid, its impact so deep that human life will be irreversibly transformed. Although neither utopian nor dystopian, this epoch will transform the concepts that we rely on to give meaning to our lives, from our business models to the cycle of human life, including death itself.” Mr. Kurzweil was describing a period in the near future when computer computational and learning power exceeds that of the human brain. A singularity can also be seen as a discontinuity in a system where after reaching an inflection point the prior laws or characteristics of that system no longer apply. Today, there are several global converging singularities which will irreversibly transform our society and human life, several of which we will address here.

Debate Debacle: What Biden and Trump SHOULD Have Been Asked / ElectionOracle / US Presidential Election 2020
Tuesday night’s presidential debate between Donald Trump and Joe Biden won’t go down as a great moment in the annals of American democracy. That much both camps, as well as independent observers of the chaotic spectacle, can agree upon.
The post-debate debate over whose interruptions or insults were most egregious totally overlooked the glaring failure of moderator Chris Wallace to ask any substantive questions about the country's unprecedented financial predicament.
Record budget deficits? Unsustainable debt growth? Open-ended Federal Reserve currency creation?

Will Gold Price Go Up? / Commodities / Gold & Silver 2020
Biden asked Trump to shut up during the first presidential debate. But for us, the most important question is whether gold will finally go up.Thankfully, the first U.S Elections debate between Donald Trump and Joe Biden is behind us. Arguably, it was awful to watch and one of the worst presidential debates in history, as both candidates talked over each other and threw insults. Consequently, the debate did nothing to alter the Presidential race dynamic nor educate the public about the candidates. As the chart below shows, currently, Joe Biden has an average polling lead of 7.3 points over Donald Trump. Of course, the polls, especially nationwide, are not considered as very credible. But, according to the polls, if Trump changes nothing, Biden remains in the lead, and it is projected that the Democratic nominee will win.

Why “AI” Is a Fraud Tech Stocks / Companies / AI
Who will be crowned the world’s first trillionaire? Mark Cuban says there’s one disruptive trend that’ll bring a whole new meaning to the word “rich.”
You likely know Cuban as a star investor on ABC’s Shark Tank. The billionaire also owns the Dallas Mavericks. His big call? “The world's first trillionaires are going to come from somebody who masters AI.”
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the most hyped up trend on the planet. The core idea of AI is a machine that learns and thinks just like you or me. Most importantly, it learns all by itself, without human intervention.
