Short Term EUR/GBP Gains Delay Medium Term Bears / Currencies / Futures Trading
The earlier fall in the EUR/GBP cross came to a temporary halt in June, and the market has been reluctant to resume its medium term bear path. Recent strength is not yet seen as the precursor to any major trend turnaround, but it still delays lower values.

Euro Reaches New High Against U.S. Dollar for 2009 / Currencies / Futures Trading
As expected, the Euro reached 1.48 for the first time this year, and also reached the first target suggested in yesterday's report, which leaves the second target 1.4901 ahead of us, could we see it today? The current advance is still climbing (slowly we might add) without showing exhaustion, and the top of the current channel is at 1.49, these thing support the probability of going up. On the other hand, a divergence case on the RSI is developing as we speak, supporting the opposite scenario.Read full article... Read full article...

Euro Dollar Hits Resistnce Topping Area / Currencies / Futures Trading
Reaching the top of the channel at 1.4684, but not breaking it, the Euro is still inside the suggested area for a top. The top of the channel is slowly approaching 1.47, more accurately it is currently at 1.4691. And between here and 1.4720 we have a good resistance that can curb this slow rise. If this happens, we will break 1.4654 and head towards the short-term 61.8% Fibonacci support at 1.4607, which the euro needs to hold above to survive the expected correction.Read full article... U.S. Dollar May Mount Turnaround if Equities Sell-Off / Stock-Markets / Futures Trading
The Dollar is trading weaker overnight as investors believe the U.S. economy is on the road to recovery. Traders are seeking higher risk currencies although this demand is not spreading to the equity markets. It will be interesting to see if a sharp break in equities will flip the currency markets with the Dollar coming out on top by the close.

U.S. Dollar Topping, Aggressive Traders Should Sell the Dollar / Currencies / Futures Trading
Volatility was the rule again today but USD action was not as pronounced as yesterday’s whipsaw and the USD ended mixed against the majors to finish New York today. Stock, Commodities, Futures and Forex Markets Analysis 6th March 2009 / Stock-Markets / Futures Trading
The March NASDAQ 100 was lower overnight as it extends Thursday's decline. Stochastics and the RSI are oversold and are turning bullish hinting that a short-term low might be near. If however, March extends this month's decline, the 87% retracement level of the November-January rally crossing at 1052.76 is the next downside target. Closes above the 20-day moving average crossing at 1165.67 are needed to confirm that a short-term low has been posted.Read full article... Read full article...

The March NASDAQ 100 was lower overnight as it consolidates some of Wednesday's short covering rally. Stochastics and the RSI are oversold but remain neutral to bearish signaling that sideways to lower prices are still possible near-term. Closes above the 20-day moving average crossing at 1173.80 are needed to confirm that a short-term low has been posted.Read full article... Read full article...
