The S&P ends 2024 at 5881 up an epic 23% on the year virtually a repeat of the +24% for 2023, and down 2.75% on the month which is contrary to the seasonal pattern for Decembers. In fact 2024 has been a year of contrary to seasonal price trends, i.e. April was down when it should have been Up, September was Up when it should have been Down and now December is down when it should have been Up, so Investing in the stock market during 2024 was a bit like playing Squid Game, every investor thinks they know with certainty that they will win with their perfect buys but most got killed or were left on the sidelines as the watched the market do the opposite of what they were expecting it to do, the key lesson being to be positioned for the market to either go up or down whilst maintaining exposure to the BULL MARKET as despite all of the fear and fomo the stock market managed to snake it's way to an epic gain of 23% for the year! What more could investors have asked for from 2024? The fact that despite this many are still disappointed speaks volumes of how difficult investing actually is practice vs folk thinking it will be easy money, if you find yourself disappointed despite a 23% gain then what are you going to be like during a down year?
Rest assured I will be here to hold your hands for another year through the peaks and troughs of 2025 where regardless of what the market does as it's snakes way towards another +20% gain folk can avoid getting killed by selling out at the lows and win by trimming into the FOMO highs so that by year end folk will have successfully ridden the third year of the stocks bull market that began October 2022. Already folk right now are in a tiz because of the end of the year sell off delivering a DOWN December, to me this is good for the start of 2025 because it now gives the market a spring board for an expected January pump, much harder to do if stocks had continued to fomo higher into the end of the year to an overbought state that would weaken the prospects for January.
Are you ready for the manias of 2025? Foremost of which should be Bitcoin completing it's bull cycle with one last big pump to trigger the great alt coins mania that will see most folk buy into BS use case narratives of how crypto's will change the world! The adoption S curve narratives such as of the clown in the White House delivering a Bitcoin reserve with the DOGE Master standing firmly behind that will convince folk to plow their life savings into fairy dust that is crypto. As I always warn no rose tinted glasses, keep your eyes wide open as Bitcoin is modern day Tulip Mania!
The only reason folk are buying any crypto's is to try and get rich as the number goes up. 1X becomes 10X and that's all that 99.9% of folk are interested in, most don't even know what the block chain is! Only that they hope that their influencer sponsored coin will 10X.
CRYPTO MANIA 2025!
Just one more pump is alls I seek to completely exit the crypto casino.
Bottom line - AI is REAL, block chain is REAL, but perhaps 98% of what folk are engaging in is pure Tulip mania gambling. When the bubble bursts your crypto Tulips are going become worthless! At least the Dutch got some pretty flowers out of it it!
I hear so much BS about RSI, double bottoms, swing high swing low, Easy come, easy go, every which way the wind blows. I see a little silhouette of a man Scaramucci, Scaramucci, will you do the Fandango? Thunderbolt and lightning, very, very frightening charts to me, (Galileo) Galileo, (Galileo) Galileo, Galileo Figaro, magnificoin rug pull, now your all poor boys.
The crypto price charts do what folk expect them to do because they act on that expectations they will do that until the price stops doing what folk are expecting them to do because they were only let into the crypto casinos so as to provide excess liquidity for the smart money to exit with all of the money.
There's one thing folk can bet on for 2025 and its that I will always keep telling folk like it is!
