Theresa 'Cersei' May Wins Tory Game of Thrones to Seize Conservative 'Iron Throne'
Politics / BrExit Jul 11, 2016 - 11:17 PM GMTHome Secretary and master tactician Theresa 'Cersei' May surprised all by succeeding in seizing the Tory 'Iron Throne' some 2 months ahead of schedule, putting David 'Lannister' Cameron on 48 hours notice to quit No 10 Downing Street. The seeds for today's victory were sown a week ago ago as BBC newsnight revealed emerging details of a plan hatched to kill off Andrea Leadsom's building campaign before it gained further momentum.
The plot in the mainstream establishment media began with Andrea Leadsom over the weekend being heavily criticised for her comments that she had children and Theresa had not and thus she had a greater vested interest the future -
"I am sure Theresa will be really sad she doesn't have children so I don't want this to be 'Andrea has children, Theresa hasn't', because I think that would be really horrible."
"It means you don't want a downturn but, never mind, 10 years hence it will all be fine. My children will be starting their lives in that next 10 years so I have a real stake in the next year, the next two."
" Genuinely I feel that being a mum means you have a very real stake in the future of our country, a tangible stake."
This brought forward a torrent of outrage from the establishment press and politicians who literally slaughtered Andrea Leadsom for her comments, That prompted Andrea to apologise Sunday .
“I’ve already said to Theresa how very sorry I am for any hurt I have caused and how that article said completely the opposite of what I said and believe,” she said.
“I was pressed to say how my children had formed my views. I didn’t want it to be used as an issue. Having children has no bearing on the ability to be PM. I deeply regret that anyone has got the impression that I think otherwise.”
However what's missing from the picture is that effectively Andrea Leadsom had been ambushed by Theresa 'Cersei' Mays team as they had been briefing journalists of the anguish that Theresa May has suffered at not being able to have children, thus with a hint and a wink encouraging the establishment journalists to repeatedly ask Andrea Leadsom about her views on this matter and thus falling into their trap.
This is what is coming to light several hours AFTER Andrea Leadsom pulled out of the leadership race and Theresa 'Cersei' May declaring victory during the afternoon as reported on by BBC Newsnight.
"A senior figure in Andrea Leadsom's camp, told me that she walked straight into a trap laid by the Home Secretary's team. In one of the most extraordinary claims of this campaign. This person told me that the Home Secretary had deliberately talked last weekend about her pain of not having children so that journalists could then be enticed to ask Andrea Leadsom about her life as a mother. This person also told me that the Theresa May campaign were planning a second round in which the Home Secretary would talk about her battle against diabetes so that journalists could once again be encourage to once again ask Andrea Leadsom about Theresa May's personal life."
Early in the morning and before Andrea Leadsom quit, Theresa May gave her 'BrExit is Brexit' fantasy speech. However now that a REMAINer is in charge then this clearly does not bode well for BrExit as those who voted LEAVE were expecting it to happen. For instance those expecting Article 50 to be triggered anytime soon are now going to have to wait until well into 2017! And it now may never even happen!
Thus BrExit is going to be heavily watered down with effective little change to Britains membership of the EU, a faux Brexit of a few tweaks here and there but not much impact on the likes of free movement of people for instance. Therefore Theresa May seizing power is a bad day for democracy, freedom and the British people as Theresa May was chosen by just 199 Tory MP's against 17 million Brit's who voted to LEAVE the EU. It effectively has now made BrExit freedom infinitely less likely than if Andrea Leadsom had been anointed Prime Minister of Britain.
