U.S. Conservatives will align with Hillary Clinton to Stage Global War

ElectionOracle / US Presidential Election 2016 Jun 05, 2016 - 07:51 AM GMT

A political commentator predicted that the year 2016 would see the break-up of each political party. The entire GOP would shrink as a national party becoming one confined to rural areas; the Democrats would split between the pro-Wall Street, pro-military interventionist wing of Hillary Clinton; and the Bernie Sanders wing rejoining the legacy of F.D.R., the New Deal and Great Society, which gradually weakened since Bill Clinton.

With Hillary Clinton’s recent verbal assaults on Donald Trump and the exuberant praise of her by conservatives, the GOP might have its secret stealth candidate who won’t be appearing at the GOP convention in Cleveland, but might take enough Republican votes away from Trump in November to help defeat him. Her name is Hillary.

On June 3, Reuters reported “U.S. Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton lambasted Donald Trump's foreign policy platform as ‘dangerously incoherent’” ... casting “her Republican rival as both a frightening and laughable figure.”

Speaking ahead of the June 7 California primary, Clinton said Trump’s ideas are not just different, but “dangerous”, “a series of bizarre rants, personal feuds and outright lies.”

Washington Post conservative blogger Jennifer Rubin exalted the speech as “the best speech of her campaign, if not her career.”

Fox News writer Judith Miller advised “If you are looking for a presidential candidate who favors conservative foreign policy prescriptions and such traditional Republican positions as promoting free trade, strong alliances, and the selective but robust projection of American force abroad, look no further than the presumptive presidential nominee – Hillary Clinton.”

The arch-conservative National Review called her “a defender of the legacy of Ronald Reagan”; furthermore, “if Hillary runs like this she will win big,” chimed the magazine.

In an op-ed for the L.A. Times, Max Boot, a Republican hard-line war hawk and self-declared “American imperialist,” wrote “Clinton would be far preferable to Trump.” He said, Reagan’s “Republican Party is dead.” The Tea Party “wounded” it, and Trump “killed” it.

The New York Times called her “the last true hawk left in the race,” acknowledging that “neither Donald J. Trump nor Senator Ted Cruz of Texas have demonstrated anywhere near the appetite for military engagement abroad that Clinton has.” Her “foreign-policy instincts are bred in the bone,” based on “a textbook view of American exceptionalism.”

Contrasting Trump with herself, Clinton outlined their “two different versions of America”; one which believes America is weak and in decline (Trumpism) and the other which is based on ... well, based on Hillary Clinton’s “exceptional” and “indispensable” America she presided over as Secretary of State.

Because she assassinated Osama bin Laden her approach is “serious”, she said. Shudders! This alone is enough to scare Empire’s chief antagonists Russia and China, not to mention Syria, Iraq, Iran, Libya, Yemen and every other mid-east and north African country that awaits more drone strikes and more “collateral damage” (the killing of innocent non-combatants) to keep America “safe” and safer still for Wall Street, Big Oil and  U.S. multinationals while escalating the profits of Boeing and Lockheed Martin to boot.

Alpha-female Clinton claims Trump praises “dictators” like Vladimir Putin. The president of Russia is well aware that Hillary and Victoria Nuland of her State Department were the primary catalysts for engineering the bloody coup and regime change of Ukraine’s democratically elected government in 2014 in order to bring Ukraine ... “democracy”.

Putin, it seems, will take his chances with Trump’s foreign policy that promises some degree of rapprochement given that the Big Lie that all Americans have consumed and believe about Russian “aggression” will escalate under Clinton to justify NATO – that now encircles Russia with heavy arms, nuclear missiles and troops – advancing across Russian borders on Clinton orders.

The second Big Lie, about China, used to justify Mr. Obama’s “pivot to Asia” and the ongoing militarization of southeast Asian nations with U.S.-made weaponry will, of course, need a Max Boot “imperialist” like Mrs. Clinton to keep Empire empire. Ignore islet disputes between Japan and China; ignore the civil war between Kiev and Donbass; these are proxy wars inching into pre-wars between U.S. and Russia and China.

As Pope Francis said less than two years ago, we are already fighting WWIII, piecemeal.

Former AP and Newsweek reporter Robert Parry wrote, “If the U.S. election comes down to Hillary Clinton v. Donald Trump, the American people will have to decide between two candidates who could risk the future of the planet, albeit for very different reasons.”

Clinton’s neoconservative interpretation of what’s happening in Eastern Europe is “so upside-down and inside-out that it could ultimately become the flashpoint for a nuclear war between Russia and the West,” he admonished.

What the military-industrial-complex and Wall Street like most is Empire as well as a pre-selected cadre of interventionists called “neocons” that sustain and expand it.

Hillary is one of their best.
