Equity Outflows Resume... It’s Time to be All-in Short
Stock-Markets / Stock Markets 2016 Feb 19, 2016 - 04:03 PM GMTSPX bounced off Intermediate-term support at 1904.40 this morning. There are a couple more supports that must be taken out today so progress may be slow, but steady on the downside. This assumes no catalyst rears its ugly head to spark the panic decline today.
Despite the three-day rally, we have seen the longest streak of equity outflows since 2008.
ZeroHedge reports, “As we showed one week ago, it has been a deplorable year not only for the broader market, but for some of the marquee "hedge" fund names, who once again have shown they "hedge" only in name. We followed up with a report on the world's largest hedge fund, Bridgewater, whose Pure Alpha strategy we further showed has gotten slammed in the first two weeks of February, losing a whopping 10% in half a month.”
Charles Hugh Smith writes, “Think Another Crash Is Impossible? Think Again.”
The Cleveland Fed Financial Stress Index just broke out to what the Fed describes as a “Significant Stress Period.”
Finally, TNX quit beating around the bush and has resumed its decline.

Tony
