It appears that SPX is forming a Diamond formation that implies at least a 205 decline from the lower trendline. The Diamond trendline may be broken at 2056.00. Tomorrow is the next Pivot day, so I would anticipate the formation to be triggered then.

The 200-day Moving Average is broken, giving SPX a confirmed sell signal at 2064.60. However, it doesn’t hurt to see another confirmation.

VIX is now challenging the trendline of its bullish Flag formation. In addition, VIX appears to have found new support at the 50-day Moving Average at 17.08. VIX is on a confirmed buy signal (SPX sell signal).

The Hi-Lo Index is consolidating in place today with no change in the sell signal.
