The Mass Psychosis Of 9 /11 Will Never Be Healed

The Cognitive Dissonance Theory
Posted by the group of authors called Cognitivedissonance on twoicefloes.com in its 'Dispatches' series, today 11 September, a very long and well-argued article examines the now intricately or insanely woven strands of the rational and irrational called “9 / 11”.

Trying to separate them is basically impossible but we have to try.

The lead authors (who call themselves Mr and Mrs Cog)  for example say: “a huge and tragic mistake made by nearly all of us.....is to assume we must have in place a complete and detailed historical narrative, including names, confessions and the smoking gun”. If we don't have that, how can we reject the “official version” however pathetic, absurd and incredibly full of lies it may appear? What should we do?

Then a rapidly-built system and process switches on – not only of Us and Them – but asking what degree and type of lies, whether they are little white-colored, or large red-colored for the color of blood we will accept. But who are “we”?  This is a mind game we play against ourselves. We might believe that any lie thrown at us, about 9 / 11 or anything else, will possibly or probably include “a few grains of truth”. So we could try to winnow them out of the forest of lies.

However this pushes us to extremes. Some will say the official version of 9 / 11 is 99% lies, but others might say its only 50%. The Big Lie is then wheeled on stage, in our minds and then in print, and videos, and films and interviews.

As an aside “Mr and Mrs Cog” point out this one: a somewhat well documented theory posits that Christianity was created and/or hijacked by the Romans to counter and defuse what was at the time a militant revolutionary Jewish uprising in the Roman-occupied Near East, using the militant themes of the Old Testament and rejecting anything from the “pacifist” New Testament.

Note the keyword “hijacked”. The hijacked airliners flown into the Towers and the Pentagon, if the Pentagon was hit by an airplane, were probably hijacked by Islamic militants. But this brings another huge intellectual or moral issue, or just a basic problem of logic. How can you take on an entire religion? The Romans couldn't.

America Became Schizophrenic
Almost officially, and certainly in reality - the problems started right there.  George W. Bush quickly called for a Crusade against Terror but his advisers just as quickly told him to drop the “Crusade” word. But the reasons they told him to drop “the loaded term” weren't only what you might think they were. Crusade, supposedly, has an “End of Empire” ring to it. You only go on a crusade when your empire is done and finished. Like the Romans, perhaps. Like the Muslim or Islamic militants almost surely and certainly. Like the Jews fighting the Romans, also.

Another point was that even the Roman Empire was increasingly “virtual” or “theoretical” at the time, and the American empire never existed. Nor the Grand Caliphate – it was a set of semi-independent local Caliphates opposed to the theoretical Grand Caliphate. Even this was divided between Baghdad and Cairo. Who was George W. Bush fighting?

Confusion firstly seeped in, and then flooded into “9 / 11”. Not ironically but automatically this was compensated, in the USA, by more extremes on “both sides”. The Official versus the Unauthorized version, just like Bible writing over the ages! Mr and Mrs Cog in my opinion waste some time on what they call “a litmus test” of whether you can and will accept that 9 / 11 was A Problem of Empire. If you accept that it was, you must choose your side of the fence. If you believe the official version you either obtain direct benefit from the Empire or hope you will.

That's fine if you can or could believe there is “an American empire”, and as the writers of Cognitivedissonance say, the real product of 9 / 11 inside the USA was “a new bogeyman”. In no way did 9 / 11 protect or defend the empire which does not exist! How could it? It did create a mess of New Fears, and new jobs, and new government departments, and other things but outside the USA it was blown up into the most fantastic mushroom cloud of fantasy and illusion that it will possibly never disappear.

End of Empires
An empire which never existed cannot end. In the fantasy world of the imagination that is not important.  It can be called a Money Empire or Moral Empire or Ideological Empire – and some could criticize me as going too fast by saying that all and any empire, of the “conventional type” was an economic disaster and that's why they fall apart. The American money empire – for example the now antique and threatened Petrodollar – could also be called an ideological or cultural empire. When Chinese industrialists want sell stuff in the USA they call their flashlights Donald Duck flashlights, not Pearl River or Jasmin Flower flashlights.

This of course is very humiliating to Chinese. Twitter and Face Book cause a lot of resentment in many places, even Europeans attack Google for wanting to own all your personal details forever, and sell them to the NSA! Apple has a bad reputation for the geolocation gadgets it puts in every cellphone it makes. But is that “empire”? Who are you kidding!

America's 9 / 11 schizophrenia, which is now “had wired”, has in 13 years spread across the planet, and mutated as it did so. As we know, planes like flight MH370 simply do disappear and are never seen again. Several of the Sept 11, 2001 planes disappeared forever. To be sure there was some photogenic debris strewn around, for example outside the Pentagon but was it debris from the planes concerned? Other 9/11 planes might not have existed in the first place. And the people on board? How about the technicians who inserted the nanotech explosives on many floors of the Twin Tower before they were demolished? Are they all dead, also? Their friends or relatives knew nothing about their work or are still too scared to say anything?

This isn't “logical doubt” but the stuff of religious myth and legend which is totally impervious to anything called logic, so some will say it was all done To Protect The Empire, that doesn't exist.

The problem is this does nothing to protect the Virtual Empire but does actively foment attempts at creating other Virtual Empires – ask ISIS and al Qaeda. The 9 / 11 schizophrenia of the USA is above all fear-based, meaning “ontological and existential fear”. The USA had been threatened, attacked and shaken down to its Core Values. But we don't know what they are.

Of course the Official Version lists them, the claimed values. John Kerry on visit to Baghdad reeled out a few at the microphone. Obama does it too. The next problem is that the rest of the world either doesn't believe them or rejects them. Even at the time of 9/11 plenty of commentators and TV anchorpersons asked why the al Qaeda hijackers didn't crash their planes into US nuclear power plants instead of a couple of buildings in New York and the Pentagon? Why not? Obviously it was all highly symbolic. It was a symbolic event. It was mass schizophrenia.
