Airline Stocks – That Sinking Feeling

Second, we have 13 planes that go off radar in Europe on June 5. No one knows why
Third, a Iraqi Warlord released by the US (for unknown reasons) is now capturing Baghdad and taking over Oil.
It does seem the woes for airline industry has been building up and investors seem to have decided that it is time to get out of them. We saw an average 10% correction in airline stocks. Something tells me this is the start of a major correction in all high beta stocks. The damage yesterday has to be telling for many funds and they will try to book profits in other sectors.
