Watch for Stock Market Sell Signals
Stock-Markets / Stock Markets 2014 May 10, 2014 - 10:54 AM GMTSPX reversed back down beneath Short-term resistance at 1876.23. The balance of all the supports are just beneath this morning’s low at 1867.02. The Ending Diagonal Trendline is at 1865.00. Either the supports or the trendline may be used as the “sell signal.” Take your pick.
VIX has reversed up without making a new low. It is quite a distance away from its “buy signal.” The 50-day Moving Average at 14.36 or the prior high at 14.49 would both serve as the SPX sell signal.
The NYSE Hi-Lo has made its sell signal by declining beneath its prior low at 120. It should be checked after the close, but unless a fierce rally is attempted before the close, it should remain in its current position.
Regards,
Tony
