It seems like déjà vu all over again in the SPX. Today is a Trading Cycle Pivot day, so we should see a reversal very soon. The numerical pivot is 210.7 and today is day 211, so I don’t expect to see the retracement last.

NDX is challenging Intermediate-term resistance at 3573.53 and appears to be complete at this point. It has made a 69% retracement and may go to the 78.6% level at 3584.00 because Yellen is still giving her testimony. However, volume has dropped precipitously so the ability to maintain the ramp after the shorts are squeezed out is dropping.

VIX appears to have completed its retracement decline and may turn imminently as well. Today is also a Pivot day for VIX.
