Elite Herd Psychology And War By Default

The earliest clinical definition of schizophrenia and the schizoid denial of reality dates to 1911 and the Swiss psychologist Eugen Bleuler, who moved on from previous medical definitions of dementia, by including the key parameter of “positive and negative” schizoid states. The number of these states is still a question of debate among psychiatrists, biologists, and political scientists and historians, seeking explanations for deliberately irrational individual behavior and the mass behavior of elites.
Bleuler underlined that schizoid states often occur in pairs, or paired opposites of “split minds”. Well known examples include paranoia-megalomania and catatonia-hebephrenia. In other words megalomaniacs such as Adolf Hitler or Josef Stalin were often paranoid, also. Many Americans retrospectively consider George W. Bush was a paranoid with strong megalomanic tendencies, also. Several French political journalists and scientists have suggested former president Nicolas Sarkozy suffered from catatonic-hebephrenic disorder. General or undifferentiated schizophrenia is increasingly identified as a biologically-based syndrome operating by self-willed, or medically-induced (technically called iatrogenic) destruction of brain function in specific areas of the brain. This damage is able to co-exist or interact with, and reinforce other forms of schizophrenia.
The Wikipedia page “Public image of George W. Bush” notes the ironical shift, in American public opinion of Bush from a perceived paranoid reaction – by the public to Bush and his policies – to an increasing fear among Americans that Bush was himself psychologically impaired. Long after Bush quit politics, Dr. Justin Frank's 2014 book “Bush on the Couch: Inside the Mind of the President” [http://www.amazon.com/Bush-Couch-Inside-Mind-President/dp/B006CDP11W] notes that the former president had a "lifelong streak of sadism, ranging from childhood pranks (using firecrackers to explode frogs) to insulting journalists, gloating over (Texan) state executions ... and pumping his fist gleefully before the mass bombing of Baghdad." Biologically-induced brain impairment in the Bush case is suggested by Frank as possible, and probably due to Bush's heavy and continued alcoholism as well as the medication used by Bush in his failed attempts to “go dry”.
Collective Schizophrenia
Mass or collective amnesia is a constant process in our society. Politically, it enables the elite to simply reproduce and replicate previous, provenly-defective, guaranteed-failure policies and programs, such as Keynesian mumbo-jumbo remedies for the economy, knowing the voting public has “forgotten all about it”. With massive backing from the glove puppet media to keep the public dumbed down or at least confused, the process bolsters the political elite's deep or visceral contempt for the voting public, who are treated and viewed by the elite as worthless zombies and morons.
Elite herd schizophrenia as manifested by the cult of mass amnesia pursues the basic goal of denying reality, which is the basic operating system of schizophrenia – deliberate and willful irrationality.
On a daily basis in April 2014, Western elite schizophrenia is on view, with the Ukraine crisis. Daily shifts from megalomanic Nato-led threats of military force to “roll back the Russian Bear”, to plaintive and scarcely-concealed euphoric offers of increased trade and investment in Russia – can be heard from exactly the same mouths! Angela Merkel of Germany was the first Western leader to publicly and theatrically “cast out Russia” from the G8 group, restricting it to its 1975-era format of G7, which in fact has a sharply declining relationship with world economic power today, in 2014. Merkel's asides that Putin was “being irrational' was quickly transformed by the glove puppet media to Putin being a madman. The G20 foreign ministers meeting in The Hague at the Nuclear Security summit lost no time in pointing out the G7 group's lost dominance – the G20 group has no intention of excluding Russia.
Merkel's Economics and Energy minister, also Vice chancellor of Germany, Sigmar Gabriel at a 7 April conference in the presence of the chairman of the board of Gazprom, Alexei Miller, noted that Germany is Russia’s number one partner in Europe’s gas and energy markets supplying close to 40% of its gas and about 35% of German oil. He added that: “Looking at these statistics”, it is very clear that talk about Atlantic solidarity is having little effect on our [the German government's] “rational-based decision making”.
Usually and simply called deep hypocrisy and the cult of lying, this behavior by Western elites is more accurately diagnosed as elite schizophrenia. This is a mental disorder needing urgent medical treatment and the rapid removal of affected persons from any position of political power.
The Urge to Bomb
Political dementia, at least its subset of elite schizophrenia clearly has limits – on certain occasions such as the above, where German and European purse strings are threatened! Europe must continue importing Russian oil and gas, business is business – but schizoid denial of reality soon reappears. The Ukraine crisis is portrayed by the elites and their glove puppet media as demanding sanctions, and possibly military action against Russia “to defend the Kiev Flash Mob government”.
This “government” was not democratically elected – but that detail figures nowhere in the gush of statements from the schizophrenic elite – split minds can say “never mind”. In fact the Western elite's defence of democracy provides a marvelous example of schizophrenia in motion. For decades, this fantasy has supplied a demented rationale to justify go-anywhere bombing – the bombing of selected smaller countries without nuclear weapons that could or might have oil, or heroin in the case of Afghanistan, or simply for the megalomaniac joy of bombing, such as bombing Serbia to enable the Islamic-dominated micro state of Kosovo to be created - and exist in broken-backed poverty.
The political process, by allowing diseased schizophrenics to rule instead of removing them instantly from power, makes this somber charade inevitable.
History proves that the limits on elite psychosis and mental disorder are rarely perceived by the Elite Herd itself at moments when the elite's “group think' leads to disaster, or these limits are only acknowledged much later on. In fact, always too late. The process and operating system of elite schizophrenia is the basic reason for this. This is reflected today, as it was during the run-up to World War I, by what French call the “valse-hesitation” of European and American elites to an uber-exciting and terribly virile (to them) prospect of a military stand-off with Russia. Never mind the nuclear weapons that Russia possesses.
Major elements in the elite schizophrenic thought process, in this case, include a desperately needed justification for the continued existence of two timed-out and irrelevant institutions, the EU28 and Nato. The Ukraine crisis is a handy and ideal “red line in the sand”. The shifting sands of elite dementia and schizophrenia, that is.
Naval forces of Nato are being beefed-up in Crimean waters along with the supply of F-16 fighter jets – but only in homeopathic and economic, fuel saving doses – to aid the elite struggle to Protect the Climate – to the designated front line state of the European Union, such as Poland and the Baltic States. Proving the total and farcical schizophrenia that rules, economic relations with Russia, especially oil and gas supply to Europe continue to be presented, by exactly the same schizoid elites,.as a motive for further and deeper economic cooperation with Russia! Of course business is business, but elite schizophrenic politics is high risk, and schizophrenia is recognized as a disease, since 1911.
Waltzing to War
Historians agree, and disagree on the exact role of elite confusion and double think – or schizophrenia – in the run up to the 1914-1918 “pan European civil war”, also called World War I. In any case, denial of reality was heavily implicated in the confused sequence of political decisions, and refusals to decide that led to this war, initially focused on the Balkans – including today's Serbia, Ukraine, Moldavia, Transnistria, Georgia and other “disputed states and regions”.
This was a classic geopolitical confrontation, as described by Thayer Mahan and Halford Mackinder.
Here we can note that Mahan and Mackinder “agreed to disagree” on the role and importance of land-based power, and sea-based power, providing excellent opportunities for later fumbling and obfuscating misinterpretation of each doctrine, by the political elites. To be 100% sure and certain however, the classic geopolitical standoff of the 1914-1918 war was pre-nuclear. It certainly predated the existence of ICBMs or Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles – which exist for much more than 45 years.
Today however, nowhere in the excited, frothy, confused and lying propaganda broadcast by the “elite friendly” press and media do we find the simple explanation that war with Russia is not technologically possible. This would ruin the schizophrenic flights of diseased, medically treatable fantasy that pass for “news and views”! Without the spark of elite madness, we might suppose, the average middle class voter, seen as a worthless zombie by the elites, might rebel or become “difficult to manage” - in any case a horrific prospect for the parasitic elites that feed off middle class stupidity.
We can conclude that the Ukraine crisis provides more proof of elite dementia and the elite desire for military “adventure”, as it is called. This crisis also shows the pitifully irrational nature of mentally-deranged elite deciders whose “group think” at all times nurtures and encourages their schizophrenic behavior. Military “adventure” is unfortunately a time-hallowed diversionary tactic and rallying tactic of the elite for encouraging the worthless zombies – the citizens that vote for them – to greater idiocy. Satisfied that the voting public is above all stupid, elite fantasies of their God-given intellectual and moral superiority can be further intensified, and humdrum reality can be further denied.
This is of course very dangerous – even for the elites themselves! Adventure of the military sort can blow back as civil wars, during which the elite can (we hope) be physically eliminated, by show trials or simple assassination – called 9 grams of lead in the neck by Stalin. Failed military adventures are especially risky to the elites who play with their dangerous and psychologicall dernaged toys – but with no understanding of the danger because they are demented, should be removed from power, and need urgent medical treatment.
