China Fakes Moon Lunar Landing
Politics / Conspiracy Theory Dec 14, 2013 - 06:13 PM GMTWith much fanfare China announced that its Jade moon rover carrying Chang'e-3 space craft successfully touched down on the lunar surface saturday afternoon, which represents the first human non hard impact landing on the moons surface for some 37 years.
However, zooming into the image reveals that the chinese space agency may have been a little too eager to rush to release images of the lunar landing out to the world media as the workers on the set appear to have left a good luck charm behind, on the left of the picture, partially buried in the lunar dust that implies that the landing was faked.
Welcoming China to the fake lunar landings conspiracy theories club for NASA has been down this path for over 40 years now, and so now it is China's turn, afterall that is what tends to happen in free socities.
Though, more seriously, the chinese lunar landing is nowhere near on par with those that took place by NASA in the 1960's because in terms of broadening the frontiers of scientific knowledge it is pretty much worthless, as it breaks no new ground but is a poor effort to copy what the US did far better many decades ago, just as is with the case for the mass produced chinese products (junk) that destined to fill up western garages in exchange for even more worthless paper IOU's that western governments print by the trillions each year.
Instead, if China actually wanted to do something scientifically useful then they would be better served to seek to under take a mission to Jupiter's Ice covered moon Europa, or Saturn's moon Titan with its dense atmosphere, now that is something that would be remembered for many decades rather than this flash in the pan lunar landing that will be forgotten within a week.
