God Meme
Dear Mr Walayat Interesting as always, however I think you mean God Meme, not gene. Secondly, and all commentators seem to have missed this... the revolution you see on the street is a technological revolution. For the first time in history the masses have the power to organise in a matter of days if not hours - something that would have previously taken weeks or months to develop and easily planned against by the authorities. Your not wrong, just mistaken
Please Study "Journeys Out of the Body," by Robert A. Monroe; Re: The Debt Slaves Are Waking Up - Real Reason for Brazil, Turkey, Occupy Protests After digesting that revelatory book, find a copy of "Return from Tomorrow," by the late psychiatrist George Ritchie (( also, investigate the Association for Research and Enlightenment, in Virginia Beach, VA )). Your not wrong, just mistaken. -Richard |

Debt Slavey mega-trend
Hi My perception is not driven by academia, hope or wishful thinking of how things should be but rather to understand the probable drivers for economy and markets for the purpose of profiting from the mega-trends. We can all hope for freedom, but it takes step by step concrete actions on the ground to achieve freedom. We can hope for an all powerful guiding entity but its precise genetic manipulation that which will make manifest what many pray for. Best NW P.S. I've played with lucid dreaming in the past and no I was never so confused as to imagine it was an OBE, which is a type of lucid dreaming that a number of people find confusing due to lack of experience of. |

Housing market in Australia
Hi Nadeem, Can you comment on housing in Australia as well? Is it in the same stage as UK's bull market? Regards Karwai |

Australian House Prices
Hi Given the vast array of variables involved my focus is virtually wholly on UK and US housing markets, nevertheless Australia is a western capitalist democracy, very similar to the UK and US with the added bonus that it is in the ascendancy given its resources i.e. it will OUTPERFORM both the UK and US in economic terms over the coming decade, which therefore implies so should Aussie house prices as at it's core the fundamental driver is the same which is the INFLATION MEGA-TREND. Now I don't know where Aussie house prices are in terms of cycle, trend, sentiment, valuations and momentum so I cannot say what they will do over for instance the next year or so, but I think it is highly probable that by the end of this decade, regardless of how high they may be today, they will likely out perform both the UK and US housing bull markets, given expectations for greater economic growth. Off course there are lots of negative factors that one could throw up such as china slackening demand, and Aussie debt dynamics, but these mega-trends are never obvious to the masses until they are near their end, just look at the 5 year old stocks bull market, how much negative crap have the clueless journalists, academic economists and perma bear salesmen spouted over the past 5 years ? UK Housing market forecast
Nadeem, maybe good calls in the past, but you appear to have missed the current uptick in UK housing, still awaiting a forecast. Cheers Mike G |

UK housing market buy signals
Hi Mike I referred to the UK being in an embryonic bull market for virtually the whole of 2012, and I missed nothing, as illustrated by my September 2012 article - 08 Sep 2012 - UK Home Extension Planning Rules Relaxed to Boost Economy, Trigger Housing Bull Market ( Whilst the UK house prices (halifax index) were scraping the very bottom of the bear market low, I gave to anyone who cared to listen a clear buying opportunity signal : I am continuing to see positive signs towards a multi-year bull market, so I am giving you another head start on an emerging probable multi-year bull market in UK housing.
