We may now have an estimate where SPX is finished with its final surge. Wave 1 equals wave 5 at 1523.37 (already achieved), while Wave [i] of 5 equals wave [v] of 5 at 1521.50. The Cycle Top resistance also acts as an attractor at 1523.96. We could easily see this final thrust finish in the next hour or so.

Today is also day 89 in the current Primary Cycle. Primary Cycles are normally 86 days in length, but they may extend. Usually the extensions are in 4.3 day segments, but we often see the extensions measured in hours. The current hourly count from Friday’s high is 17.2 hours roughly at 2:00 pm eastern time. Another fractal measure would be from Thursday’s low to today’s high would be 26 hours a bit later this afternoon…closer to 3:30 pm.
