Symptoms and Signs of 'The Shift'
Politics / Social Issues Sep 09, 2012 - 10:55 AM GMTAre we on the cusp of a new dawn? From Britain to Brazil and from Kenya to China, ATCA 5000 distinguished members in more than 150 countries around the world are beginning to report an unprecedented yet accelerating individual and collective ‘Shift’ in awareness in the last few quarters. The changes appear to be affecting many at the material, physical, emotional, mental and more subtle levels. We have been examining four key interlocking aspects of those thoughts, observations and views expressed one-to-one by distinguished members from around the world in this regard:
1. Are we in an unprecedented ‘Shift’ in individual and collective awareness?
2. Why are these subtle changes appearing to affect so many simultaneously?
3. Do they indicate that there's a new way of learning, living and being that is now needed?
4. As a result of these collective developments, what could become the core principles and structures that are being re-organised & re-structured in real time?.
This new phenomenon is being tracked by not just those in the transpersonal, artistic, psychological, human potential, spiritual and avant garde movements; but by progressives in the world of neurosciences, quantum physics, business, invention and behaviourism. As evidence emerges of this new renaissance, the following ‘Shift’ appears to be growing simultaneously around the world:
1. Dramatic speeding up of events;
2. Feelings of being completely overwhelmed in some;
3. Feelings of experiencing deep peace and solace in others;
4. Lessening of fear and anxiety associated with peer-pressure in a growing number;
5. Lessening of polarity of extreme judgment in a growing number;
6. Easier adaptability to changing circumstances in some;
7. Increasing urgency to create and embrace new paradigms in others;
8. Great resistance to letting go of the current system and hierarchies in a powerful but shrinking minority;
9. Increasing desire to be of service to others; and
10. Greater compassion.
Are we, as it appears, moving from self-absorption towards greater empathy? If this is the era of:
1. Greater self-realisation;
2. Cloud-enabled computerised interconnectivity; and
3. Total transparency enabled by mass-availability of instant telecommunications and new revelations;
It appears to focus on using inspiration, imagination, intuition and good-old-fashioned gut instinct to expand creativity and creative solutions. This ‘Shift’ appears to be causing an updating of our inner software and outer hardware -- meaning our mind, our emotions, our beliefs as well as our body, institutions and lifestyle!
What are your thoughts, observations and views? We are hosting an Expert roundtable on this issue at ATCA 24/7 on Yammer.
