US Presidential Election 2008 – The Politix Ron Paul the One ?

ElectionOracle / US Presidential Election Jan 01, 2008 - 03:12 PM GMT

By: Ian_Brockwell

ElectionOracle The Red or the Blue pill? - Its strange how often Science Fiction can sometimes touch reality and one can't help but think that US politics (and other countries) have a striking resemblance to some areas of the film “Matrix”.

Whilst we may not be living in some computer program (although you can't be sure of that), the power structure and the illusion of freedom is much the same. The humans (the public) are controlled by machines (government), and we are made to think that everything is normal because of this illusion that the “machine world” create for us.

We have lived in a kind of Matrix (“The Politix”) for a long time and have been cleverly manipulated into making decisions that our “controllers” want us to make, with the help of government propaganda supplied to us by various media outlets.

Our minds are constantly receiving instructions about what is right, and what is wrong. But who makes these standards that we are told to follow? Religions tell us that it is wrong to kill and steal, and that we should love our neighbors, yet political leaders who claim to be believers, don't follow these very simple rules. Were they designed just for us sheep?

We are no longer allowed to express our opinions freely, unless they support the views of our masters, and if you stray from this line you could face severe penalties and even imprisonment!

Thanks to the internet, there are a number of “Neo's” that are helping us to see that the world we thought was real, is in fact just an illusion. Is it any wonder that our “masters” are looking to censor and control that area too?

Simply dreaming of change is not enough, you have to actually do something about it yourself to make it happen. There are many people like “Morpheus” in the Matrix film who believe they have found “The One”, but persuading other people to believe this is not always easy.

Ron Paul certainly seems to be “The One” that can make the necessary changes, but the media (and our secretive masters) are determined to offer you a “program” that is designed to make you think differently.

It seems the US has a very simple choice to make in 2008, just like that offered to Neo by Morpheus. You can take the “Red” pill (vote for the mainstream media selection), and carry on living the way you have always done. Or you can take the “Blue” pill (vote for Ron Paul) and have much more control over your own lives. The choice is yours!

US election

Congratulation. I really appreciate you for this article for pointing out the impact of media on our general public mind.

We must apply our common sense and brain to come out from the dream world and try to face the reality. This election is a chance for us to choose the best candidate for the highest of the country to establish the democratic value of this country.

Thanks.

Beat Long Poll Lines with Absentee Ballots from StateDemocracy.org

Many state and local election officials are encouraging voters to use Absentee Ballots to avoid the long lines and delays expected at the polls on November 4th due to the record-breaking surge in newly registered voters.

Voters in most states still have time to obtain an Absentee Ballot by simply downloading an official application form available through www.StateDemocracy.org, a completely FREE public service from the nonprofit StateDemocracy Foundation.
