Freedom and Truth, Leaps and Bounds
Politics / Mainstream Media Feb 28, 2010 - 04:52 AM GMTLibertarian, Anarcho-Capitalist, and Austrian economist’s, along with other freedom thinkers are aware of the state and their influence over the masses. The brainwashing that occurs every day is excessively sickening and the manner in which it’s done is even worse. Through the control of the mainstream media the state has for decade’s channeled false information from school history books, newspapers, journals, and television to lead us to believe into their scams. The only pollution in the air is that which comes from corrupt minds.
If we go to war, we are practically told what the feel about the war. We are told who the good guys are and who the bad guys are. In extreme cases the enemy isn’t a country but a group of extremist’s which can exist anywhere, at home or abroad. Go against the status quo and you are looked upon as some sort of nut. Who would have thought that speaking the truth is looked down upon?
Through the internet the masses are awakening to truth. When the day comes for government to severely restrict its powers or to give it up all together the tides will have changed and the masses will be giddy with anti-state, anti-war, anti-tax, and pro free markets. It is a matter of looking in the right direction in order to realize the truth.
Most today are aware that the government is bad, war is bad, and that taxes are at the point of a gun. The tough part is to educate minds into why government, war, and taxes are bad. Once the uneducated become knowledgeable, there will be no stopping freedom. To equip one with knowledge of this magnitude has the same power as to equip one with a gun.
Being awaken is a breath of fresh air and will re-energize people to re-educate themselves. To understand that the truth has been concealed from them they will naturally urge for more and come to realize economics itself, that their urges are unlimited. People won’t be able to get enough of it. More importantly is that they will be enticed to this naturally and will not be forced upon them.
Once the recognition of government control is too much for individuals to deal with they will be forced to turn to other alternative views. The truth will await them; unfortunately it will have to come from government’s excessive control and will fortunately result in government’s demise.
This is the same reason why many hate the very government that supposedly protects them; the people are forced to cooperate. How is it we have to live in a world where we are to live by force and not by choice? Some would argue that we have choice by elections. But what happens when the political parties are practically the same. When either way you choose, you choose the same ideas but only a different person. It’s a simple flaw in the system in which a simple idea is dressed up to be more than it really is.
Nevertheless, this means all the more to the freedom movement. Freedom cannot be forced on to people like laws, regulations, and taxes. Freedom is the natural state of man. Deviate from it and the consequences will be revealed in short time. Speak of it and it is one more person that sees past the noise. Freedom being natural quite possibly has the power of Mother Nature herself. It is outstanding how the best ideas come naturally about. These ideas become widely adopted and are not from a supposed problem fixer in a government suite.
All of us that are mankind are in a continuous state of nostalgia: the desire to return to our natural status of true freedom. We naturally dabble into fallacies only to learn from them. Looking through history we have built upon ourselves a great amount of evidence showing freedom is far better than anything else. Knowing this, we must ask ourselves how it is that government’s good intentions are really good when they force us to promote them through taxes. How can government policies be just, when its very foundation is unjust?
This is the reason why we are given our own physical properties and minds. We are beholden to no one or no one or thing. The corrupt temptations of a few can rot the whole world into believing falsehoods. We are too quick to say that we are different from animals and we must therefore have a planned society. This is not true, survival of the fittest works for our benefit. Being greedy and self-interested will not just help the individual but society as a whole.
Current government policies are taxing future generations for a few men messing it up for the rest of us. How can this possibly be good economics? This can also be true for a system of government for future generations. Meaning, just like how future generations are being taxed today, future generations are already being governed today. How can we bind future generations to current government stupidity?
The moment will come where freedom and the truth will once again stand the test of corrupt minds. Until then we can only work towards a peaceful conversion.
