Explosive Stock Market Alert, Where and What to Buy?
Companies / Investing 2009 Aug 23, 2009 - 08:00 AM GMTWhere and What To Buy
This weekly report helps you find stocks to trade.
The Trend Report
Trading Trends can be the most lucrative of all types of trading. Grab a trend early and you can easily ride it to riches.
However, with several thousand stocks in the market, finding trades is a challenge for the average investor.
They say if youre going to fish, go where the fish are. This is where the fish are! When I teach trading, the most frequent question I get is where to find a stock to trade. Too many people spend too much time fishing in areas they shouldnt. There are several thousand stocks in the market. This report breaks each industry down into its top 30 performers. You should start here if you thinking of investing or trading.
Everyones perspective is slightly different. What I should be doing is different from you and different from the person next to you. Some seek more growth and some seek more stable income.
We take care of that for you. We review several major industries and identify stocks in up-trends. How can you use these lists?
Looking for the top stocks in each sector? Every trading book will tell you to look at your stock relative to its industry group and pick the cream of the crop.
Looking for quality Dividend paying stocks at a glance? Look, dividends to you no good if the stock is going lower - look for good dividends in uptrending stocks and get the benefit of both income and asset growth!
Earnings growth important to you? This list shows the last 5 quarter EPS and the EPS growth for the last quarter.
Float? This is definitely something to consider based on your age. Younger investors should be looking at smaller companies with more potential to grow. Why? Because 100 shares in a young growth company can become 6400 shares after the 6 stock splits the top growth companies normally goes through over a decade. Older investors, looking for more stability, should look at larger companies.
By following this report on a weekly basis, you get an idea of the action of the market. At bottoms, the lists will be very short. At tops, the list will be at the max (around 30).
And it will also show you the relative money flow from group to group. Notice how short some of the lists are, and how long others are. That tells you were the institutions are putting their money and may give you insight into where we are with the business cycle. Armed with this knowledge every week, you can make more logical allocation of your trading and investing capital.
How do you use the lists? I'd love to hear from you.
