Making your way into the world today costs time, effort and... money. That said, with a healthy application of discounts everything will be easier and more convenient. In other words, if you want to make your budget go further, you need to take advantage of our top tips for getting price reductions and discounts on everything from airline tickets to spa treatments. So strap in and get ready to save more and spend less.

Strategy number 1: Apply some discount codes

Discount codes are a great way to shave a healthy percentage of your goods. You can sometimes find promo codes on the website you are purchasing on. However, a second option is to search 'discount codes' in Google and browse the variety of websites that are dedicated to finding and hosting discount codes for all sorts of online stores.

Strategy number 2: Combine promotion website with discount codes

Websites like Groupon collaborate with companies and allow you to purchase 'vouchers' for that company. These vouchers are actually a direct purchase of the product or service at a discounted rate. If you want to really maximize your savings, visit a discount voucher website, choose a Groupon promo code and apply a discount to a discount! Groupon discount codes (https://www.plusvouchercode.co.uk/offers-discount-code-groupon.html) work in the usual way, just copy and paste your code into a specific box on the checkout page.

Strategy number 3: Use reward programs

There are many companies that offer you rewards and discounts for viewing advertising content or performing other actions such as completing surveys. This is a win-win for both parties and it is a great way to build up a discount base before you ever start shopping.

Strategy number 4: Hit that 'Like' button

Increasingly, social media is becoming the go-to outlet for advertising promotions. 'Liking' the Facebook page of a company means getting promotions into your newsfeed in real-time, making sure you're up to date with every offer the moment it gets released.

Strategy number 5: Don't let them use your information against you

Companies often try to upsell you on products based on your search and purchasing history. This is referred to as 'dynamic pricing' and results in a price tailored specifically to you based on what the company thinks you will pay rather than the real value of the product. There are a number of ways to get around this. Start by deleting your browsing history before shopping and logging out of any email accounts. You can also switch to incognito mode on your computer for added anonymity.

Strategy number 6: Get the newsletter subscriptions going!

People tend to avoid this strategy for fear of a deluge of marketing spam into their inbox. However, you can get around this by setting up an email address specifically for this purpose. This means you get access to the many reductions and promotions by signing up to the newsletter, as well as updates on upcoming sales and offers.
