Youtube "Innocence of Muslims", "Broadcast Act of Terror" Recruiting Video for Al-Qeeda
Politics / Propaganda Sep 15, 2012 - 08:25 PM GMTUnder the guise of freedom of speech Youtube continues to broadcast a highly blasphemous video for muslims that to all intents and purposes is acting as a recruiting video for Al-Qeeda on par with the Abu Graib, and civilian Kill video own goals committed by the US Military in Iraq.
In the modern age, we are living in a 24/7 media propaganda soup where broadcast networks are constantly competing against one another for viewer interest and in the process the facts and the truth get left far behind, as we see with the likes of Murdoch's Fox News Propaganda Network.
Similarly, governments, intelligence agencies and the militaries of the world have increasingly made use of propaganda to fight wars across the air-waves we see this with pseudo democracies of Russia and Iran joining the propaganda war during the past decade with the likes of RT News and Press Tv.
However, the likes of youtube have increasingly put the power of broadcast propaganda into the hands of virtually anyone as the "Innocence of Muslims" video illustrates, that will probably become the greatest recruiting video for Al-Qeeda of 2012, and that has already been used under cover of angry rioting mobs to attack embassies and kill American Ambassador Chris Steven's, the first US Ambassador to be killed in office since 1973.
What people should be aware of is that the "Innocence of Muslims" video did not emerge out of a vacuum but is part of a clear trend of the powerful tools of propaganda slipping from the hands of the mainstream media, governments, intelligence agencies who have been practicing these dark arts for many decades and falling into the hands of anyone, including an assortment of extremist groups of all persuasions such as on the one hand we have Pastor Terry Jones publishing inflammatory threats of koran burning to on the other side Al-Qeeda's terror attacks and beheading videos, both of which are designed to inflame tensions between peoples in what can only be termed as "Broadcast Acts of Terror".
The "Innocence of Muslims" video ups the anti as it elevates "Broadcast Acts of Terror" to the next level which whilst of low production value i,e. sub $50,000, achieved its purpose of killing innocents by inciting hatred and acts of terror that many extremist groups will now be seeking to emulate, which means that virtually every religion is now fair game,. Whilst many in the west think that they have become desensitised as a consequence of far greater exposure to broadcast networks competing against one another to illicit reader attention, however they will be surprised, if not shocked to realise the extent to which many of whom will still find themselves incited into demonstrating and in some cases violence, as sacred religious symbols such as the Virgin Mary are given the "Innocence of Muslims" treatment.
This will leave governments, intelligence agencies and law enforcement to pick up the pieces, to deal with the aftermath of the "Broadcast Acts of Terror" that will with increasing frequency take place over the coming years.
