Halifax sucks

I have had many mistakes on my Halifax accounts and in my town you have to make an appointment which can be as much as two weeks later to see someone at the branch!

This is nothing compared to dealing with Halifax International. Several years ago I opened an account as the rate was a healthy 7% (IIRC). In the two months it took for them to open the account the rate had dropped to, I think, 4% It has since dropped further but I cannot now recover my money. They wont discuss the account over the phone because I don't have a telephone password which you have to order over the internet but their website also comes up with an error message when you try and set a password. I suppose this is what happens when the government runs banks.
