On Friday the Dow closed near 500 points lower at 24,100. So with less than 10 days to go until Christmas there is no sign of the stock market Santa rally.

The Dow In terms of my 5 month trend forecast:

After converging with my trend forecast at the start of December, the Dow has since been showing significant deviation going into the last few weeks of my 5 month forecast as by now the Dow was expected to be trading around 26,250 rather than plunging Friday to the low of 24,100. Which now basically makes it impossible for the Dow to reach 27,000 before the end of 2018.
